My Why

Photographing wild animals in their natural habitat is my biggest passion. I love spending endless hours in the wildest and untamed parts of nature looking for wildlife. Feeling nature elements like wind, rain or the sun on the skin and observing majestic starry skies while being outdoors fuels my inner fire and fills me with incredible calmness at the same time.

I caught this Atlantic Puffin in flight against the sun on the south western end of the Isle of May. This particular area turned out to be my favourite spot. I really miss the strong winds and amazing soft late afternoon sun and hope to be back soon.

Day 3 of our week on the Isle of May had a very unexpected surprise in store for us.
